Ale Gâteau Forêt-Noire

Review by greg.scott

Nose: Chocolate, coffee, cherry

Taste: Wow! very fruit forward. Just like getting slapped w/ a bag of cherries and chocolate. Some nice sour notes in there at the beginning. A really great tartness to it. Really nice initial flavor, cherries, sour, a lot of sweet, but not sugar. Maybe a hint of coffee. Great mouth feel, you can really chew it, and break the flavors out. It has a really great mouthfeel at the start while the finish ends pretty quick. It doesn't linger in your mouth.

From bottle: Belgian style dark specialty ale, bottle re-fermented.Ale brewed with spices, tart cherry juice and with natural flavors added.SRM 35, IBU 20. 10.5% ABV.
